My Adventure Vehicle - Yama Mori 山 森

Since vans really do require a name, I wanted something that was unique and reflected my personality in some light and subtle way. I came up with Yama Mori - which in Japanese literally means “mountain forest”. It is not a phrase that the Japanese say, but it is a nice combination of things that motivate me. I am, and always have been, more attracted to the mountains to inspire my adventures, so the name fits.

My van is a 2025 Mercedes Sprinter 170” WB - it was build by Vancraft LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah as a Vancraft Allterra.

Yama Mori has been heavily modified by Owl Offroad in Portland, Oregon - including the following equipment:
